A LITTLE ABOUT THE OWNERS

The Sk8n Station is owned by Kendall and Tricia Kerns. We have been the owners since January of 2013.  Kendall grew up skating in Des Moines, Iowa and competed in speed skating competitions as a kid.  He has had a lifelong passion for skating. Tricia grew up going to the local roller rink in Chariton, Iowa. Our love for the Winterset community and our love for skating makes it an unbeatable duo.

Kendall has been a part of the Winterset community since 2004 when he came to work for a local bank.  Kendall bought a home here in 2008. In 2009 Tricia moved to Winterset and they were married. Kendall is the owner of Affinity Insurance in Winterest and Tricia is a graphic designer for Iowa's largest health insurance company. Kendall and Tricia are the proud parents of 22 year old triplets (Mackenzie, Madison, Nicholas) and a 15 year old (Jaxon).

Our goal is to provide a safe, fun, environment for the community to enjoy.  We know the rink has been in the community for a long time, and has provided a lot of great memories for kids growing up.  We plan to continue that tradition.
